Company founder, Julia MacLeod, was born and raised in Dartmouth Nova Scotia. She began working on social media marketing campaigns in 2015, which inspired her to go to Saint Mary’s University. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing.
During the Covid-19 pandemic is when JGM Marketing hit its stride. There was a need like never before for businesses to have a strong social media presence. Julia now manages many social media accounts for various industries like Retail, Breweries, Not For Profit, Telecom, Politicians, Audio-Visual, Contractors, Health & Wellness, Real Estate, and Sports Teams.
